Aisling Bea

Aisling Bea is one of the most popular and richest Comedian who was born on the 16th of March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She's appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly known by her stage title Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is an Irish actress, writer and stand-up comic. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea started her stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she began appearing in sketch comedy shows or sitcoms as well as other similar shows. In 2012, after winning an award during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on various panel shows where she is now a regular. In 2016 and 2017, she was a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her were Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. In 2012 she won the So You Believe You're Funny Award twice. Her surname honors the memory of her father who passed away. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was a vet for horses who died by suicide when she was just three years old. She was not aware of the cause of her death until thirteen years later. In 2017, she wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and took on the stage name Bea in tribute. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were brought up in a home by Helen Moloney, who was a school teacher and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. Her family were obsessed with racing meetings and horses. When she was a child, Bea worked as an instructor in the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she wasn't attracted to the race industry as a job, and enjoyed performing.
